Medical Procedure Overview
UltraClear® is a next-generation, FDA-cleared resurfacing laser that uses 2910 nm fiber laser technology to gently vaporize damaged skin cells while triggering controlled dermal heating to boost collagen and elastin.
Depending on your goals, your provider can tailor the energy levels—from light polishing to deeper resurfacing—to improve tone, texture, fine lines, pores, scars, and overall skin clarity.
Most treatments take 15–30 minutes, and a topical numbing cream may be applied for comfort. Skin appears pink immediately after and progressively improves over the following weeks as new, healthy skin emerges.

Downtime varies depending on the intensity of the treatment. Light treatments may involve 3-5 days of redness similar to a mild sunburn, while deeper resurfacing can lead to 5-7 days of redness, dryness, and light peeling.
Most patients tolerate Ultraclear very well. A topical numbing cream will be applied beforehand to reduce discomfort, and the cooling technology built into the device enhances comfort throughout the session.
While many patients notice visible improvement after just one Ultraclear, 1-3 sessions are often recommended. Each treatment builds collagen and improves skin quality over time while maintaining safe healing, leading to smoother, clearer, longer-lasting results.
